Our team understands the emotional challenges that families face when making these decisions. Sunset Villa is a team you can turn to for support, understanding, and compassion. We are here every step of the way to help you and your loved ones transition into their new home with comfort and ease. We always encourage families to be as involved as they can. Visiting hours are not scheduled, and you can spend as much time as you prefer. We also invite you to join us to participate in any of our community activities.
Our staff spends every day ensuring each resident is happy and healthy. From our Activity Programming to our Dietary Services, each team member strives to make our community a place for your loved one to call home. Our caregivers are specially trained in dementia care and provide meaningful daily routines in our residents’ everyday lives. We believe in finding fun for each resident and celebrating each person's life.
Yes. We understand that not all people are on a “to bed at 8 and up at 7” schedule. We have staff on duty all night long and are there to meet the needs of individuals. We offer snacks, spend quality time and gently redirect them back to sleep if required.
All employees receive continuous training in dementia care needs, diagnosis, and care approaches that promote dignity and respect for those we serve. Our staff meets once a month for in-services. We also receive outside training resources from Home Health, Hospice Services, and Medical Supply.
Sunset Estates is our sister facility located next door to Sunset Villa in Ontario, OR. Sunset Estates was built and opened in 2014 and is also a 16-room facility built with care and compassion in mind. We would be happy to show you Sunset Estates upon request.
Our approach is to create a safe environment that can help your loved one maintain a high quality of life in the face of memory loss. For more information or to schedule a consultation, please contact us today.
